I believe that it's one bottle per passenger and that the corkage fee is $15.

Not meaning to be offhand but would you drink your own alcohol in your room at a hotel, where there was a bar? A cruise ship is really a floating hotel and yes you might save yourself a couple of quid but come on you are on holiday and I can't believe you would spend at least a thousand pounds if you can't afford to pay for a drink.
