If you are happy with a smart black suit no problems and on non formal nights it is up to you, most will likely not wear a jacket if you feel out of it the first few nights no doubt you will have a jacket with you that you can wear. Enjoy and relax and have a great time.

The dress code for gentlemen on Fred Olsen ships is Formal: Dinner jacket or tuxedo, alternatively a dark suit and tie. Informal: Lounge suit or jacket and tie. Elegant casual and casual: No jacket required. However if you are sailing on a Caribbean cruise the dress code is more relaxed and on a two week cruise you will normally have three Formal nights and the rest being Elegant Casual/Casual when gentlemen are not required to wear a jacket unless by choice. You may also have Theme nights e.g. Country & Western, Caribbean or British night. Happy cruising!
