We are due to sail on QM2 in january too, to the caribbean. We sailed transatlantic last year and tried Todd English. The food was excellent, as was the service. The food is richer than in the princess grill so don't go if you are watching your weight. I think the supplement is 30 dollars but I could be wrong. There is also the Chef's Galley where you can watch the food being prepared, the supplement for this is slightly less than Todd English. You would be able to get the correct figures from a Cunard brochure or the website. There are lots of choices of places to dine but we found the food in the grill to be outstanding and only dined there or Todd English. I would definitely pay the supplement and go again in january.

We were on the QM2 in April this year (we are again April 2008) and we found the Todd English restaurant to be absolutely fantastic. We had a fabulouse meal there and the service & surroundings were everything we could have wanted. The supplement was $30 per person and worth every penny. Do go there, you will enjoy it! Incidently, if you Google Todd English you will find several of his restsurants (under various names) in New York.

I recently dined in Todd English, every night on a return New York trip, because I did not like the Britannia Restaurant service. The supplement of $30 was well worth it, just to have the cheese board brought to your table. Seriously though the service is far superior, food quality is in a different league and the atmosphere unrushed and excellent. The only downside is the restaurants position which leaves a little to be desired and that particular tables cannot be reserved. Highly recommended though, well worth the extra and I'm confident you will enjoy it.

I traveled on the QM2 transatlantic last week and whilst I found the Britania resteraunt (included in price)very good the "Todd English" was exeptional in food and service - highly recomended for at least one visit on your trip (you will need to book in advance once on the ship)- as for the suppliment it is $30 for dinner and $20 for lunch (which I did not try). No other restaurants with supplements on the ship.
