RCI are offering free car parking - your travel agent should have told you this. The port is clearly signed from M27. RCI dock at Western Dock, Berth 101, Gate 10.

Neil Down - Answered a Question by Davis (22 Oct 07 20:32)

Dear Miss Davis The trains arrive in Southampton Central from all over the country and the buses arrive a their terminus not far from that. From either of these I would suggest a short taxi ride to the docks, I would not suggest that you try to walk it. If using the train please remember it is Southampton Central no Southampton Airport or Parkway that you want. You might try and contact the "Airport Taxi "companies and get a quote to take you down and to meet you to return. You are about 180 miles from S'ton and it might be a luxury that you didn't consider especially if you go on the "Cruise Critic" web site to see if anyone else is going from near you, or even ask on here....Good luck with it.....Ida Down .

We travelled by train last year from Lancaster direct to Southampton. The port is literally a 5 minute taxi ride away. Rail fare was very reasonable too.
