All food is included in the price as is entertainment and a Captains cocktail party. There are some speciality restaurants e.g Gary Rhodes, where a supplement is charged but the normal restaurants are more than adequate. The main restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. There is also the self service restaurant and other snack places which means food is available almost 24hours. Tips are paid in cash to your cabin steward and restaurant waiters. The current recommended rate is £2.90 per day per person total.
There are some resturaunts that have a cover charge that can cost up to £25 pounds per person, per meal. Room service is no longer free, it has to be paid for, but there is plenty of choice without having to pay the extras.
Tips are not included, unless its in a deal from your travel agent,some ships take a set amount out each day per person. You dont have to do this you just cancel it on the first day of your cruise and tell the reception desk that you are going to tip individuals. Tipping is at your discretion. P and O give you information on tipping if you book.
Yes all food tea and coffee which is also in your cabin and some juice in the casual dinning areas also water is free but not bottled and all alcohol is extra and some coffees you pay for tips are payable on the last night in cash in pounds.
