Find Your Cruise
On each cruise we have been on we have been given the table for two we requested, we enjoy our own company. People are different and I think a lot of people who reply to these answers do try to make people think the same as them. We mixed happily at other mealtimes. However, there are no promises re a table for two BUT you often find they become available after the ist night as some people do try and are often able to change seating. Some seasoned cruisers can be a wee bit overpowering in their ideas BUT times are changing.
We cannot advise if you do not let us have the name of the cruise line can we.....and it is usually polite to add the word 'please' when asking a question.
Generally speaking the answer is yes but to get a more specific answer I agree with A of N Neil.
Most cruise lines offer a choice of tables in the main dining rooms ranging from 2 to 8 seater. The tables for 2 are at a premium usually as they are few. most cruisers go for larger tables in the hope of meeting some convivial company. I have met many lovely and interesting people this way. I find that after thirty four years married I like having someone else to speak to other than my lovely husband. Breakfast, lunch and the occassional dinner in an alternative restaurant provide enough of the twosome experience. Whatever you decide - have a lovely time.
