Ocean Majesty is also used by Page & Moy. It's a small (10,400 tons) 2+/3* ship offering basic budget cruising. Friends of mine cruised from Harwich to the Fjords and described the cruise as 'reasonable for the price we paid.' If you check the 'Holiday Truths' website and click on Cruise Reviews at the top of the page you will find Ocean Majesty has a couple of reviews. Happy cruising!

It always amazes me how people only start asking questions about the ship they are cruising on AFTER they have booked the cruise, but here goes. You will be able to find independent reviews on the Ocean Majesty by typing the name into a search engine such as Google. The facts are that the Ocean Majesty was built in 1966 as the Spanish car ferry Juan March. She was converted into a cruise ship in the early 1990s and has previously been named Olympic and Homeric, which, along with her current name, all seem to be some what over grand for her diminutive size! The ship is greek owned and run by Majestic International Cruises, along with the Ocean Monarch and Ocean Countess, but has been chartered on a regular bases by Page and Moy since the mid 90s, and that is who you will be sailing with. They have a much better reputation for good service than many charter companies, and really seem to look after their passengers well. She is regarded as a **+ ship giving basic, cheap, value for money cruises for the more mature person happy to forsake the glitz of the newer luxury cruise ships whilst still having comfortable surroundings. Expect ratings to be around 5/10 for most facilities. i.e. Accommodation, extertainment, etc. The food is reported to be perfectly acceptable without being outstanding, which is as much as you could expect at this level. I hope that this has been of some help to you? Happy Cruising.

My apologies. You are absolutely right. At no point did you say that you had already booked the cruise! I only wish more people had as much common sense as you! Happy cruising.
