We would like to visit Australia/New Zealand and do a cruise while there maybe between the two. I also hate flying which is going to be a problem but..... So any tips, suggestions.

Celebrity only has Mercury going to Hawaii from San Diego on 22Oct or 06Nov next year, other wise Millennium is doing a one-way on 06Oct out of Ensenada, Mexico. This is more tricky to get to , so I suggest the San Diego ones.

One of the disadvantages USA port because of the maritime law in the States. Only cruise lines with an all american crew, and registered in the States, can just cruise around Hawaiian islands. Fanning Island, a two day crise away, is not worth visiting . . try for one of the American cruises if possible. The one which ends in Ensenada involves a five day sea crossing at the end . .If you like sea days, it's OK: there was transport to Los Angeles available when we did this cruise from Tahiti via Hawaii. . .Have a great time whatever you choose! Vañerie.
