I read your question differently to the previous responses as I'm assuming your NOT going on the cattle truck transfer, but traveling independently. If this is the case you can normally stretch it 9.30am at which point they will call 'All remaining passengers please leave the ship', after that they will call you by name & ask you to leave. Obviously if you are on a RCI transfer, your fellow coach passengers would not be too impressed if did decide to hang back.
Normally they have arrange transport to the airport and you have been allocated a time slot and coach to leave the ship, you can book a tour which will help you kill some time ,or they may take you to a hotel where you can eat and wait till nearer your flight time.its worth checking with your agent or RCI.the flights are late pm and you may not be coming back direct from Miami?Best of Luck .
Everyone will be off the ship by 8.30/9.00 latest. If you have booked the flights through RCI you will be taken directly to the airport so take a big book and be prepared for a long souless wait in an airport with no shops. Sometimes, depending on your flight time you are allocated a day room in a hotel, othrewise book a shore excursion to the Everglades which wastes a few hours and will drop you off at the airport.
If you have booked transfers with RCI can you choose not to take them and make your own way to the airport as the appropriate time. Travelling with 2 children and have got a 17.30 flight back to the UK. Having to wait that long in the airport would be awful. Thanks.
