Find Your Cruise
I would suggest you look at
Where it states below
Yellow fever vaccine can only be given at accredited centres. Many GP practices are accredited, but if your local GP practice is not accredited you can find a list of the nearest available centres at www.nathnac.org
This has various links to Dept of Health pages which may be of assistance. If not I would suggest perhaps checking with your local Tropical School of Medicine who may be of some assistance.
Just contact your cruise company--they will tell you exactly what,if any, vaccinationa you require.
My mother had her yellow fever vaccination at the age of 75--no ill affects-she wasn't going to miss her trip up the Amazon.
Many thanks for responding. It is our local accredited centre who are questioning whether we need it or whether we an get away with an exemption certificate. I posted the question to find out if any other people had done a similar trip and whether they had to produce a certificate of vaccination at any of the ports. I will contact Princess - why did I not think of that!!!! Once again, thank you for your help.
Speak to your Practice Nurse she has access to the website and will give you the best advic.
We have just returned from the panama canal cruise and the yellow fever vaccine wasnt needed. we flew to acapulco and cruised through the canal into the caribbean. its a fantastic cruise and you will enjoy every minute of it. we sailed on the arcadia but you will still have the same enjoyment with princess. have a happy holida.
One thing to remember about travel vaccinations.A recommended vaccination is for your protection whereas a mandatory one is for the protection of everyone else!
